Island of Brac

With its 395 km2 Brac makes the largest island in Dalmatian region. Divided by Brac Channel only 13 km wide from the mainland and city of Split , this island  is 40 km long and 12 km average in width. Its highest peak, Vidova Gora (778 m) is also the highest peak of all Adriatic islands.

Average temperatures vary from 9 0C in winter to 25 0C in summer. Its Mediteranian climat and round 2700 hours of sunshine per year, its unspoiled nature and breath taking sand and pebble beaches make Brac ideal for all outdoor activities all round the year.

With 14 434 people living on it, Brac is infrastructuraly best developed island in the Dalmatian region. Covered in vineyards and olive growes dotted in white sheep grazing, with its long tradition in stone carving and fish processing, this is the island where new and old meet. And no one can say there isnt plenty to see and do!
